- Peeling – One sign it’s time to replace your old wipers is the rubber peeling away. If you notice the ends of your windshield wipers curling up or away from the windshield, then we encourage you to come to our shop to get the new wipers you need. New wipers will make better contact with the glass to clear away more water.
- Scratching – Another clear sign it’s time to get new wipers is your current set making a scratching sound against your windshield. This happens when the rubber of the wiper has worn away, leaving just the metal, which can scratch the glass. If you continue to use wipers in this state, it will damage your windshield, so we encourage you to get them replaced right away.
- Ineffective Wiping – A third sign it’s time to get new wipers can be seen in how effectively your current set cleans your windshield. If your windshield appears to get dirtier or cloudier when you turn your wipers on, it means you need new ones.
